There are ideas that take a long time to grow, and then suddenly it becomes clear that their time has come. This is one of them.
For many years, we have organised some of the largest charity markets in Poland. All this time, thousands of people have asked us the same thing:
“Why don’t you open permanent charity shops?”
We have decided to do it.
We are building a network of Centaurus Foundation charity shops that will let us help animals even more effectively, both the animals in our own care and those supported by other organisations and shelters. 100% of the profit from the shops will go to helping animals.
But this is about more than just shops.
These are places where helping meets responsible consumption. Every item gets a second life, we cut down on waste, and together we do something good for both the animals and our planet. One shop, one shelf, one item passed on, and out of all of it comes food, treatment, and safety for more animals.
But no shop like this will build itself.
Behind every one of them there will be people. Coordinators who run their own location. Volunteers who take care of the everyday work. People who help gather donations. They, meaning you, will be the heart of this project. Because it is not walls that help animals. It is people who decided to get involved.
That is why we are looking for people from all over Poland who would like to join us as:
🧡 charity shop coordinators (voluntary cooperation),
🧡 volunteers to work in the shops,
🧡 people helping to gather donated goods.
You do not need any experience. We are looking for people with energy, ideas, and a will to act. No matter your age, what counts is commitment and heart.
We are not starting this alone. We are in touch with organisations running similar shops across Europe and we are learning from their experience. Our first shop in Italy is already taking shape, we are developing the project in Germany, and we are preparing more countries. This is proof that the idea truly works, and that it truly changes the fate of animals.
This is a special moment to join us right at the very beginning and, together, create something that will help animals for many years to come.
