Who We Are

Our mission is to connect people, animals, and the planet through a holistic approach to compassion, rescue, and education. We believe that real change is only possible when we understand that humans, nature, and animals are deeply connected — and that one cannot thrive without the others.
As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once wrote, “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” This idea lies at the heart of everything we do.
Centaurus began with horses, and today we provide lifelong care to more than 1,500 rescued horses and donkeys while helping many other species worldwide. Through sanctuary work, education, sterilization programs, and direct aid in countries where animals still have little or no protection, we work to raise awareness, build empathy in younger generations, and create lasting global impact.
Our goal is not only to rescue animals, but to create spaces that reconnect people with compassion, responsibility, nature, and each other.

We envision a world where compassion becomes stronger than cruelty — and where people across all cultures, generations, and backgrounds unite to protect animals, nature, and each other.
We believe lasting change begins not by treating symptoms, but by addressing the root causes of suffering through education, awareness, empathy, and collective action. That is why we are building a global network of sanctuaries, educational programs, rescue initiatives, and international Centaurus communities around the world.
